How To Group & Ungroup Elements

In this article, you'll learn the easy step-by-step process of Grouping and Ungrouping Elements on the ClickDesigns Editor.

STEP 1:

After you've logged into your ClickDesigns account and are on your dashboard, we're going to need to launch the ClickDesigns Editor. To do this, click on "Templates" if you want to start from scratch or utilize a pre-made design. You can also click on "My Designs" if you already have an existing graphic.

In this case, let's try working with a blank canvas. An option to do this would be to click on "Templates" - and feel free to choose from any of the diverse categories that ClickDesigns has to offer.

Since we're going to be working with a blank canvas, click on "Start From Scratch."

Choose a design type, then, click "Continue."

STEP 2:

This is going to open up the ClickDesigns Editor.

STEP 3:

Let's start by adding in multiple elements to our canvas to group them. First, let's add in an image. You can do this by going to the "Image" tab.

Next, let's try adding a shape. To do this, click on the "Shapes" tab.

Finally, let's add some more elements to really tie it all in together. To do this, click on the "Elements" tab.

STEP 4:

To group all your elements together, first, make sure all the selected elements are highlighted.

Underneath "Other Layer Options," click on "Group/Ungroup."

This is going to group all the elements you've highlighted!

To ungroup all the elements, simply select the group, go back to "Other Layer Options," and click on "Group/Ungroup."

This is then going to ungroup all the elements you've highlighted!

And Voila! That's how easy it is to seamlessly group and ungroup elements on ClickDesigns.
