How To Use The Image Mask Tool
In this article, you'll learn how to mask your graphics or any of your designs using the Image Mask Tool.
STEP 1:
Log into your ClickDesigns account and click "Templates" if you want to start from scratch, or, you can click "My Designs" if you already have an existing graphic.
In this case, we want to start from scratch, so I clicked "Templates," and then chose "Start From Scratch."
STEP 2:
For this tutorial, I decided to design a pizza poster. You can go to the "Background" section of the editor to begin with a base color if you are starting from scratch.
Next, by clicking "Shapes," it takes you to an array of shape options, including "Image Masks." Clicking on this section allows you to browse through all the Image Masks options.
STEP 3:
After choosing your desired Image Mask, you may add it to your design and customize or position it in any way you see fit.
STEP 4:
To add graphics to your Image Mask, simply click on "Image," and for this tutorial, I choose to use the "Search" option to search for a picture of pizza.
After adjusting the Image and the Image Mask to your liking (don't forget to position your image behind the Image Mask!), you can also adjust the Image Mask by either selecting the "Shadow," "Gradient Color," or "Stroke" option under "Shapes." For this tutorial, I decided to add a "Stroke" effect to my Image Mask.
STEP 5:
Going to "Text" allows you to customize your Image Mask design even further. You may edit this text in any way you see fit.
STEP 6:
And Voila! You can choose tons of different Image Masks to make pretty cool designs like this one. You can save your graphic by clicking on the "Save" button at the top of the page when you are satisfied with your work.
That is how you mask your graphics or any of your designs using the Image Mask Tool!
